Cost guide
Clear aligner and invisible braces cost in Chennai
Aligner and braces prices depend on how complex your case is, how long treatment takes, and how much support is included. Advertised 'starting from' prices often apply only to simple cases. Comparing quotes is easier once you know what to ask.

What affects the price
- How much the teeth need to move, and the expected duration
- Brand and number of aligner sets
- Whether refinements (extra aligners when teeth lag behind) are included
- Retainers after treatment
- Frequency of in-person reviews with a dentist or orthodontist
- Records such as scans, X-rays and photographs
Clinic-supervised vs at-home aligners
Some aligner plans are supervised mostly remotely, with few or no in-person visits. That can work for simple cases, but problems with gums, bite or tooth movement are easier to catch in person. Ask how often a dentist will check your progress, and what happens if a tooth does not move as planned.
Ceramic and lingual braces
'Invisible braces' sometimes means ceramic (tooth-coloured) braces or lingual braces fixed behind the teeth, rather than aligners. These have their own costs and trade-offs in comfort, cleaning and treatment time, so check which option a quote refers to.
Questions to ask
- Is this case simple or complex, and is it suitable for aligners at all?
- How many aligners and refinements are included?
- Are retainers included, and for how long?
- What does it cost if treatment takes longer than planned?
- What are the refund terms if I stop early?
Hidden costs to plan for
- Replacement aligners if one is lost or broken
- Attachments (small tooth-coloured bumps) and their removal at the end
- Cleaning or fillings needed before treatment can start
- Replacement retainers in later years
- Whitening or cosmetic work some people choose at the end
Is it worth paying more for in-person supervision?
For many people, yes. Regular checks let a dentist spot gum problems, tooth movement that is off track, or a bite change early, when they are easier to correct. Cheaper plans with little supervision can cost more if a problem needs fixing later.
Frequently asked questions
Are retainers included?
Not always. Retainers are essential to keep teeth in their new position, so check whether they are in your quote.
Why is my quote higher than the advertised price?
Advertised prices usually describe the simplest cases. Longer or more complex treatment needs more aligners, more reviews and sometimes extra procedures.
Can you review my aligner plan?
Yes. Share the plan, any simulation and photos for a second opinion, and we will explain what to clarify before you commit.
