Second opinion
A second opinion on your implant plan
Implant treatment is a significant investment of time and money, and plans range from a single tooth to a full mouth. An independent review can help you understand what is proposed, why, and what to clarify with your clinic before you commit.
Reviewed by Dr. Sharifa, BDS ·

What we look at
- Whether the plan and its stages are clearly explained
- Whether grafting or extra procedures are mentioned, and why
- Alternatives that may be worth discussing, such as a bridge or partial denture
- What the quote includes and what it leaves out
- Timeline, number of visits and follow-up
Common gaps in implant quotes
- The crown or abutment priced separately or not mentioned
- Grafting listed as 'if needed' without an estimate
- No mention of temporary teeth during healing
- No information on maintenance or what happens if the implant fails
Send us
If you have more than one quote, send them all. Comparing them side by side is often where a second opinion helps most.
- OPG or CBCT report and images
- The written plan and quote
- Photos of the area
What the opinion cannot do
We cannot examine your bone and gums in person, and some decisions, such as the exact implant size, depend on the surgeon's assessment on the day. The opinion will be clear about these limits and focus on helping you ask the right questions.
Who this is for
- People with one or more missing teeth who have been offered implants
- Anyone with two or more quotes that are hard to compare
- Family members helping an elderly parent decide on dentures vs implants
- Patients told they need bone grafting and wanting to understand why
Before you upload
If you are looking after a parent's treatment from another city or abroad, you can upload their records and receive the opinion in writing.
- Photograph each page of the plan and quote clearly
- If you have a CBCT scan, include the report and a few key images
- Add a note of what worries you most: cost, pain, time or the number of implants
Frequently asked questions
Will you recommend a different clinic?
The opinion focuses on your plan. If you would like help finding in-person care, you can send a separate free clinic enquiry.
Can you review a full-mouth implant plan?
Yes. Larger plans benefit most from a second look. Send the scans, plan and quotes you have.
Is the opinion written by a dentist?
Yes, by our consulting dentist, based on the records you share.
